Here are some things that have worked for me as an influencer:

  1. Define objectives and measure results: Having clear objectives is crucial for designing strategies that lead to your goals. Measuring the effectiveness of your actions in real-time will enable you to make informed decisions based on metrics.
  2. Find and understand your niche, build a relationship: Digital relationships require trust, which can only be built over time by getting to know your audience's needs, fears, and motivations. Understanding their preferences and needs will help you tailor your approach to them.
  3. Be consistent: Consistency is key to social media success. It's crucial to be consistent with the message you share and the times you share it. Consistency will help you achieve results over time.
  4. Build a brand: Even if you are an individual, think of yourself as a brand. Your brand should have a unique personality that people can recognize and identify with. Your brand should communicate who you are and what you stand for.

Some things to avoid:

There are no shortcuts to success on social media. Buying followers or likes is not a good idea, and most social media platforms discourage and penalize such behavior.

Similarly, don't fall for raffles that require people to follow, like, comment, and tag a specific number of friends to participate. Such tactics may not attract genuine followers who are interested in your brand and could lead to penalties by some social media platforms like Instagram.
